Pension
Chwarae Teg contributes the equivalent of 6% into an Aviva Stakeholder pension plan. Individuals can make further personal contributions in addition to receiving Chwarae Teg's contribution.
Hours
Full time - 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Part time - Chwarae Teg has members of staff working a wide range of part time and flexible hours.
Work Life Balance
Chwarae Teg has generous policies on Parental leave, Carers leave and Compassionate leave. We encourage all employees to balance their work and home lives and look positively at any requests to restructure the individual's working week to achieve this. We have a Work Life Balance Statement of Intent which sets out our commitment to supporting Work Life Balance for all our staff. In addition we have policies covering homeworking, compressed hours and a range of special leave initiatives. We operate a range of flexible working patterns.
Holidays
Chwarae Teg staff are entitled to 280 hours of holiday time off in every 'holiday year' (pro rata for part time staff and in the first and last years of employment). This is equivalent to 40 days, including statutory days and bank holidays, each year.
Comprehensive Healthcare Cash Plan
We offer a healthcare cash plan in partnership with Westfield Health offering staff a wide range of benefits from dental and optical charges to specialist consultation and professional therapy and personal accident cover.
Childcare Vouchers
We run a childcare voucher scheme in association with Computer Share Voucher Services allowing staff with childcare responsibilities to benefit from Tax and National Insurance savings when using a registered child care provider.
Performance Review and Personal Development
Individuals participate in a Performance Review programme which includes identifying and addressing personal development and training needs.
Professional Subscriptions
Chwarae Teg will pay the cost of professional membership or subscriptions to professional bodies and journals where the individual’s role expressly requires it. Job descriptions will specify whether the role requires such membership or subscription.
Welsh Language
Chwarae Teg is committed to promoting the Welsh language. Members of staff wishing to learn Welsh will be encouraged and supported.
