The Chwarae Teg Design Contest
Use your creative talent to put the focus on fair play for women at work.
For nearly 20 years Chwarae Teg has been working to further the economic development of women in Wales.
This includes working to develop, influence and promote policies and workplace practices that create a balanced and fair working environment where women and men have the same opportunity to progress and develop their careers.
Also central to the work of Chwarae Teg are the projects and training we deliver to women and businesses, ensuring that on a daily basis we are actively putting workplace theory into practice in order to make a lasting positive difference for women in Wales.
The Chwarae Teg design contest is your opportunity to create a fresh perspective on the importance of striving for fair play for women in Wales. Using our existing green and purple "ribbons" logo the objective is to create a piece of work that will show this symbol of "Fairplay for Women" in a new and innovative context. It is open to female students based in Wales studying in any of the creative disciplines at school, college or university.
It is important to stress this isn't a contest to design a new logo, instead your challenge is to use, adapt and apply the ribbons as you wish into a piece of your own design work.
As background information, the ribbon logo represents two arms reaching out towards each other, with the curved points representing hands with one hand offering guidance and support to the other.
The green and purple colours are important as they provide an historical reference to the Suffragettes.
