For more than 18 years Chwarae Teg has led the way in Wales in promoting the economic development of women in Wales. We work with stakeholders from all political parties, public and private sector organisations and the third sector to embed equality of opportunity in policy making.
Identifying and addressing gender differences will be a critical success factor for delivering economic and social policy which works for communities, families and individuals. This letter is intended to raise your awareness of the key areas that must be addressed for this to be achieved.
In developing your Party Manifesto, we urge you to consider the evidence about women’s economic and social progress and make provision to address the following priority areas.
