European SME Week

Starting on the 3rd of October it's the third European SME Week, with events and activities taking place across 37 countries.

This year, SME Week is concentrating on business transfer. Many companies close down when their initial founders leave or retire, SME week aims to highlight those entrepreneurs that take up the challenge of running the companies when they do. The European Commission has recently published a brochure detailing the stories of 32 entrepreneurs across Europe in order to provide inspiration to budding entrepreneurs.
Anna Ruzzo was one such entrepreneur (see video below), she took over her father's company in Rome when he sadly passed away.
