readySETgo
The readySETgo project was part-funded by the Welsh Assembly Government/ESF/Careers Wales and was delivered from 2004 to 2007 to encourage more women to consider non-traditional training and employment opportunities through short taster courses and personal development sessions. The project engaged with often hard to reach and economically inactive women and acted as a catalyst for change. The project also delivered equality and diversity training to employers making the business case for a more diverse workforce and raised awareness of gender stereotyping issues with teachers, careers advisers and educators. Over 300 women, 45 employers and 110 educators benefited from the project.
