Supporting women into work: a gendered review of support available to help unemployed and economically inactive women into work.
Description
Chwarae Teg is undertaking a mapping exercise of the support available to help women into work, be it a job or self employment. We are focusing on provision for unemployed and economically inactive people including women only schemes and schemes for men and women. The results of the mapping exercise will inform the scoping of future research into the provision of gender sensitive employment support.
Methodology
Information about models of delivery, funding, eligibility criteria, referral routes and coverage will be gathered from a range of bodies including service providers and service users, funding bodies and UK, Welsh and local government. Statistical data on unemployment and economic inactivity will be used to provide a context.
Publication Date
The mapping exercise will be completed in the new year
Further Information
You can contact research officer, Denise Rogers, at denise.rogers@chwaraeteg.com if you have used or provided employment support services and would like to contribute to the mapping exercise.
