Research into Women’s Roles in the Welsh Workforce

Desciption

Chwarae Teg is commissioning research on women’s roles and contribution to the Welsh workforce. Previous studies were commissioned in 1996 and 2002 and the publication of this latest research in 2012 will mark the 20^th anniversary of Chwarae Teg.

The research will explore the experience and attitudes of women in Wales today changes over the past 10 years. The focus of the research will be women’s activity/inactivity rates, employment status, pay, career progression, educational attainment, occupational choices, access to childcare and flexible working.

Methodology

To be determined by the successful contractor and Chwarae Teg.

Publication Date

The deadline for receipt of tenders from potential contractors is 15 December 2011. The final report should be published in July 2012.
