New Approach to Economic Development - visit
Chwarae Teg has recently been involved in the Welsh Assembly Government’s consultation on Economic Renewal in Wales. In our response, we outlined our vision for an economy where women can make the best use of their abilities and full employment for all. A wide range of organisations took part in this consultation and the outcome ‘Economic Renewal: A New Direction’ is now available.

The Welsh Assembly Government has recently held a consultation on their proposed Child Poverty Strategy and Delivery Plan. Many organisations were involved in this consultation. Chwarae Teg’s response argues that creating conditions that allow women to fulfill their potential in the economy is the answer to eliminating child poverty.
