Women's Enterprise Wales and Lone Parents Venture
From 2001 to 2006 Chwarae Teg delivered the award-winning Women's Enterprise Wales and Lone Parents Venture (part of the Potentia Project), both projects were funded by the former Welsh Development Agency (WDA). The project engaged with over 2,500 women and lone parents provided workshops, counselling sessions and networking opportunities throughout Wales to enable them to take the first steps towards starting their own business.

Prowess Flagship Award 2005
The Flagship Awards are a best practice standard for excellence in women's enterprise development. In 2005, Chwarae Teg became the first organisation in Wales to be awarded Flagship status by Prowess, achieving recognition for the consistently high standard of services we provided to women aiming to start and grow businesses across the country.
Prowess Media Awareness Award 2006
Throughout the Women's Enterprise Wales project, Chwarae Teg worked tirelessly to engage with ambitious female entrepreneurs from all over Wales. The success of our media campaigns ensured that over 700 women received the support they needed to turn their business dreams into reality. This massive achievement was recognised in February 2006, when Chwarae Teg became the first organisation in Wales to achieve the Media Awareness Award from Prowess.
